  45. I think AT could write a library which provides good low level routines
  46. that make use of their new chipset (and 3rd-party-chipsets, with
  47. drivers), if it exists on that machine. On the other hand it should
  48. emulate these features by software if the machine (like a non-Amiga
  49. CHRP-Platform) does not have that special hardware (e.g.
  50. 3d-accelerators). This way it would be easier to make use of advanced
  51. hardware and also run on other platforms or low-cost Amigas. These low
  52. level routines could also make use of RTG, to make it easy to support
  53. the gfx-modes which are available on a machine 
  54.  
  55. That's what I would like to see in a new Amiga (besides all other good
