- I think AT could write a library which provides good low level routines
- that make use of their new chipset (and 3rd-party-chipsets, with
- drivers), if it exists on that machine. On the other hand it should
- emulate these features by software if the machine (like a non-Amiga
- CHRP-Platform) does not have that special hardware (e.g.
- 3d-accelerators). This way it would be easier to make use of advanced
- hardware and also run on other platforms or low-cost Amigas. These low
- level routines could also make use of RTG, to make it easy to support
- the gfx-modes which are available on a machine
